Which Game Alexey?

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante

With the game choices on Alexey Makarov, he first decided to play Stud Hi-Lo Regular and tossed out that game plaque.

Makarov then decided to change his mind and picked Pot-Limit Omaha.

Just as the dealer was about to deal the hand, Makarov changed one more time and chose Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw.

Rutter Continues to Build

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Stuart Rutter raised to 180,000 from the small blind and Adam Friedman called in the big blind.

Rutter drew one, and Friedman drew two.

Both players checked, and Rutter fanned his {Q-}{10-}{6-}{5-}{2-} and Friedman showed a king and mucked.

From the button, Adam Friedman raised to 150,000 and Stuart Rutter called in the big blind.

Rutter drew two, and Friedman drew one.

Rutter checked, Friedman bet 150,000, and Rutter check-raised to 575,000.

Friedman deliberated for a few moments and then mucked. With that pot, Rutter now ascends into the chip lead.

Rutter Doubles Through Makarov

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

From the button, Alexey Makarov raised to 150,000 from the button before Stuart Rutter moved all in for 815,000 from the small blind.

Adam Friedman considered his options in the big blind before folding, as Makarov called.

Rutter stood pat, and Makarov drew one.

Stuart Rutter: {10-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}
Alexey Makarov: {7-}{6-}{5-}{2-}

With Rutter wrapping pat with his ten-seven, Makarov would need a nine, eight, four, or three to eliminate Rutter, but when he found the {K-}, Rutter would double through.

Makarov Shoves Turn on Friedman

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

From the small blind, Adam Friedman raised to 150,000 and Alexey Makarov went deep into the tank from the big blind before making the call.

The flop landed {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Friedman led out for 90,000 before Makarov raised it up to 300,000.

Friedman elected to call, and then he checked the {4-Clubs} on the turn before Makarov announced he was all in for 805,000.

Immediately Friedman stood up to gauge a look at exactly what was in Makarov's stack as the Russian sat there covering his mouth with his hand, and hiding under his cap.

Friedman deliberated for nearly four minutes before he decided to flick his cards to the muck to concede the pot to Makarov.
