Schmiess Doubles on the Bubble

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Barry Schmiess was put to the test on the bubble by Chance Kornuth with the board reading {6-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Kornuth was all in and Schiess would have to put his tournament life at risk to call. But he did make the call and it was the correct decision.

Barry Schmiess: {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Chance Kornuth: {Q-}{9-Hearts}

Two pair for Schmiess was good and he doubled up when he most needed it.
