McConnon Strikes Back

Level 30 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Galen Hall was able to obtain a small lead over Jason McConnon, but when we arrived at the table there was just 285,000 in front of Hall.

That's when Hall opened to 8,000 and saw McConnon call the bet. They went on to see a {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop and this time McConnon check-called a bet of 12,000. McConnon check-called another bet from Hall on the {4-Clubs} turn, but this time the bet was 40,000.

After the {2-Hearts} river came off the deck, McConnon checked to Hall for a third time. This time the bet was 45,000 but there was no call from McConnon — rather, he shoved all in for 225,000 effective.

Hall let go of his hand and McConnon has a big lead now.
