Phil Ivey Knocked Out in the Round of 64

Level 13 : 500/1,000, 0 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Phil Ivey opened the button for 2,500 and big blind Daniel McAulay three-bet to 10,500. Ivey shoved for 85,000 and McAulay called.

Phil Ivey: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Daniel McAulay: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The flop hit McAulay with {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Phil Ivey already got up from his seat. As the {7-Spades} hit the turn, Ivey wished his opponent good luck in the next round.

"Or,... poof!" Ivey said as the dealer burned and completed the board. It would've made for a cool scene had the river been a nine, but instead it was the {A-Hearts} making McAulay trips and sealing Ivey's fate.

"Good game," McAulay said as Ivey got up and left through the back door of the Amazon Room.
