A Big Setback for Mizrachi

Level 30 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante

With about 750,000 in the pot and the board reading {K-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Sandeep Pulusani bet 310,000 from the small blind, Michael Mizrachi raised to 900,000 from the big blind, and Srinivas Balasubramanian reraised to 4.1 million from the button. Pulusani folded, and after some consideration, Mizrachi called.

The {Q-Diamonds} hit the river and Mizrachi quickly checked. Balasubramanian bet 4 million, and after some time in the tank, Mizrachi called. Balasubramanian quickly rolled over {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} for a set of eights, which was best against Mizrachi's {A-}{K-Clubs}{6-}{5-}, so he took the pot to leave the four-time bracelet winner with less than 2 big blinds.

In the next hand, Mizrachi's last 360,000 went in the middle preflop against Pulusani and Tim Andrew. Both live players checked all the way down the {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} board and Mizrachi flipped over {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} to triple up with sevens full.
