Ausmus Loses Some

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

A player limped in from middle position, Jeremy Ausmus called from the small, and the big blind checked his option.

The flop came {K-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and the blinds both checked. The middle-position player bet 30,000, Ausmus called, and the big blind jammed for what looked like 81,000. The middle-position player folded and Ausmus called to put the big blind at risk.

Jeremy Ausmus: {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}
Big blind: {K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Ausmus had flopped a pair and a wrap but needed help from the deck to beat his opponent's two pair. The {K-Hearts} on the turn gave the big blind kings full, leaving Ausmus drawing dead, so after the {J-Spades} fell on the river, the dealer pushed the pot to the big blind.
