Despite losing that hand, Tuthill is still up from the starting stack.
We caught the action on a flop of . Maria Ho was first to act from the big blind and bet 1,200. Her heads-up opponent raised to 3,500 and Ho made the call.
Both players checked the on the turn and on the river. Ho flipped over and her opponent mucked.
Joe Kuether has more than double the stack he started with. We didn’t catch the action but he inflicted heavy damage on another players stack a couple of hands before and she was eliminated when she raised all in with and ran into . The final board couldn’t help her come from behind and the remains of her stack were gone just before the first break.
After the cutoff raised to 300 from the cutoff, Jonathan Tamayo called from the small blind and the two saw a flop of . Both players checked, the dealer burned and turned the , and Tamayo check-called a bet of 400 from his opponent.
Both players returned to checking on the river and Tamayo tabled the for the nut no pair. It was good as the cutoff double checked his cards before sending them to the muck.
