Senter Makes a Big Call

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Steven Bennett raised to 65,000 in the cutoff, Paul Senter three-bet to 150,000 out of the big blind, and Bennett made the call.

Both players checked on the flop ({8-Hearts}{k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}), and the turn was the {a-Hearts}. Senter checked, Bennett fired out 125,000, and Senter tank-called.

The {4-Hearts} completed the board, Senter checked again, and Bennett cut out 225,000. Senter went deep into the tank, looking at his own stack (565,000) then turning his attention back to the board and Bennett. He sat back in his chair, stretched, then moved back towards the table.

"Sorry, guys," he apologized.

"Take your time, sir," Bruno Politano told him. "It's your tournament life.

"Says the guy with six million," Jason Weber chuckled.

A few more seconds passed before Senter pushed two towers of orange T5,000 chips forward, making the call.

"Good call," Politano said away from the table.

"Good call," Bennett echoed, showing {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a bluff.

Senter happily turned over {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a pair of kings, winning the pot.
