Five-Bet Fun

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

John Gorsuch raised to 32,000 in the cutoff, Gabriel Paul three-bet to 88,000 out of the small blind, and Nicholas Nardello cold four-bet to 182,000 out of the big blind.

Gorsuch made it five bets, reraising to 282,000, and Paul called out of the small blind. Nardello folded and the flop fell {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {k-Spades}, the two checked again, and the {4-Spades} completed the board. Paul checked, Gorsuch tossed out a small bet of 105,000, and Paul folded.

"Jacks?" Paul asked Gorsuch after the hand as they racked their chips (the table was breaking.

"Ace-king," Gorsuch told him.
