Tricky Business, Poker
Level 14
: 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
The board read and with 50,000 in the pot a player bet 6,000 and Neil Farrell slid out a bet of 55,000. He then put his hoodie up to cover his face a rested his forehead on the table for good measure. This got a chuckle out of his opponent who still had a tricky decision to make. He decided to fold and Farrell came out of hiding to collect the pot.
After a bit of conversation beck and forth asking if Farrell really was chasing down that flush draw he responded that he had a straight draw too. Asked why he acted so nervous on the river Farrell replied, “I’m always nervous. Poker’s a tricky business, and it’s the main event.”
