Patti Sets Up Pahuja

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Vinny Pahuja opened for 27,000 from the hijack and received a call from David Inselberg in the cutoff. The button folded, and then Frank Patti announced that he was all in from the small blind for 309,000. Pahuja moved all in over the top and that drove Inselberg from the hand.

Pahuja: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Patti: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

It looked as if Patti had picked the wrong time to shove, but he found new life when the {5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop delivered him a set. Neither the {6-Hearts} turn nor {K-Clubs} river helped Pahuja, and he was left shaking his head as he sent about half his stack over to Patti.
