Miller Hits the Rail

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Suzanne Miller got her stack all in preflop and was in bad shape against Charles Welch.

Miller: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Welch: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Miller had some kicker issues, but she found some hope when the {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop gave her both an open-ended straight and flush draws. The {10-Spades} turn actually paired her ten, but it was a bad card as it gave Welch a queen-high straight. That meant Miller needed to catch a heart on the river to stay alive, but it wasn't in the cards as the {7-Spades} blanked.
