The March to the Money Begins on Day 2 of Event #59: $3,000 Omaha Hi-Low
On Monday, 2014 World Series of Poker Event #59: $3,000 Omaha Hi-Low attracted 457 players — which created a prize pool of $1,247,610 — but today just 180 will return to Day 2 action. Each will be looking to make the money at the top 54, with everyone aiming for the $286,976 first-place prize.
The man best positioned to make a run at it is Roslyn, New York native Marvin Rosen, who finished with 75,300. Beginning the day second in chips with 61,600 is Brian Rast, who is hoping to do better than he did in the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop.
Other big stacks starting the day are Ronald McMillan (60,600), Gary Neese (59,400), George Danzer (51,600), David Williams (51,500), and Naoya Kihara (51,400). They will be joined by some other notables that include Vanessa Selbst (51,200), Alex Luneau (50,400), Amnon Filippi (49,800), Chris George (46,600), Chino Rheem (46,600), Jennifer Tilly (46,100), Brandon Shack-Harris (42,200), Justin Bonomo (39,500), Mike Leah (37,900), and Dan Shak (25,800).
