Hand #17: Phil Galfond opened from under the gun to 275,000. Antonio Esfandiari called from the small blind, and Daniel Negreanu called from the big blind to see the {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop. Esfandiari led with a bet of 380,000, and Negreanu called. Galfond folded.

The turn was the {3-Clubs}, and Esfandiari was first to act. He led for 565,000, and Negreanu called to see the {5-Spades} land on the river. Esfandiari checked, and Negreanu checked.

Esfandiari showed pocket queens, but lost to Negreanu's two pair with the {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Hand #18: On the final hand at the feature table before dinner, action folded to Esfandiari on the button. He raised to 255,000. From the big blind, Phil Galfond called, and the flop came down {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Galfond checked, Esfandiari bet 275,000, and Galfond called.

The turn was the {7-Hearts}, and both players checked to see the {K-Hearts} come on the river. Both players checked again.

The two saw a flop of {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and both checked. The {9-Spades} fell on the turn and Salomon fired 500,000. Kaplan flatted and the {9-Clubs} hit the river. Salomon slowed with a check and Kaplan led at the pot for 750,000. Salomon quickly got out of the way and Kaplan took it down.

Hand #13: Kaplan opened to 270,000 from under the gun and the table folded.

Hand #14: Christoph Vogelsang made it 255,000 from early position and Kaplan came along for the ride from the big blind. The flop came {K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Kaplan checked to the raiser. Vogelsang fired a continuation of 300,000 and Kaplan stuck around.
