Hand #79: Tom Hall raised to 600,000 from under the gun and Brandon Steven flat called. The action folded around to Christoph Vogelsang in the big blind and he came along.
The flop came and Vogelsang checked. Hall fired 1.2 million and Steven called. Vogelsang got out of the way. The turn was the and Hall slowed with a check. Steven took this opportunity to bet 1.5 million only to have Hall call to see the river. The dealer produced the and Hall instantly announced that he was all in.
Steven shifted in his seat and Hall stood up from the table and walked away. Steven thought for about 90 seconds before throwing away his hand. Hall showed for the rivered nut straight. Steven is now down to about 5.55 million while Hall has soared to 21.8 million.
Hand #80: Phil Ivey raised to 500,000 from the cutoff and Vogelsang came over the top for 1.2 million from the button. Action came to Cary Katz in the big blind and he four-bet shoved all in for 3.65 million total. Ivey folded and Vogelsang went into the tank. Eventually, the clock was called and by the time the floor staff arrived, Vogelsang announced a call.
