Jacks For Bellande

Level 7 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Jean-Robert Bellande made it 60,000 from the cutoff and it folded around to Philipp Gruissem in the big blind. The German made it 175,000 to go and Bellande flat called.

The flop came down {6-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Gruissem continued out with a bet of 175,000. Bellande called and the {A-Spades} dropped down on the turn. Gruissem slowed with a check and Bellande knocked the table back. The board paired on the river with the {K-Clubs} and Gruissem checked for a second time.

"Your queens are good," said Bellande as he checked his action.

"I don't have queens," replied Gruissem.

At that, Bellande slapped {J-Hearts}{j-Spades} onto the felt for the win. Gruissem mucked his cards and Bellande picked up a pot that increased his stack to about 4.025 million.
