"River Saved Me Money"

Level 3 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Christoph "Tight-Man1" Vogelsang opened for 26,000 from the hijack and Bill Klein called from the button. Noah Schwartz tagged along from the big blind and three players took a flop of {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Schwartz checked, Vogelsang bet 40,000, and Klein made the call. Schwartz got out of the way and it was heads-up action to the {7-Hearts} turn.

Vogelsang checked, Klein bet 90,000, and the German called. When the {8-Hearts} completed the board on the river, Vogelsang checked and Klein did the same.

"I know that didn't smell good," Klein said when Vogelsang tabled the {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for flopped trips that turned into a flush. "River saved me money."
