Brian Tate

Brian Tate just won three hands in a row with 40 minutes left in the day and the high stakes cash gamer's in a great spot to secure his second World Series of Poker final table.

On the first hand the board read {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} when Jan Sjavik check-raise Tate. Tate called and did so as well when the Norwegian pro bet again on the {3-Spades} river. Sjavik showed {8-Spades}{7-Spades} and mucked when Tate showed {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}.

The next hand Tate raised under the gun and Bill Chen three-bet from the button. Tate called and the flop came down {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Tate decided to check-raise. Chen called and on the turn he folded when Tate bet on the {J-Hearts} that popped up.

The third hand was raised by Sjavik from the button and David Olson three-bet from the small blind. Tate called from the big and Sjavik put in the call as well. The flop brought {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Olson checked to Tate who bet, Sjavik folded and Olson called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Olson check-called again. On the river the {7-Spades} hit and this time Olson check-folded.
