Frankland Loses A Pot Then Wins One Straight Afterwards

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Mathew Frankland opened the preflop betting round with a raise to 100,000 from under the gun. Mark Peckham called on the button and the big blind came along for the ride.

The dealer placed the {8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop onto the green felt and the action checked to Frankland who bet 140,000. Peckham raised to 325,000 and both players folded.

The next hand, there was a raise to 120,000 from under the gun and the players folded in turn around to Frankland in the big blind. Frankland raised to 265,000 and the initial raiser called. Frankland led out on the {Q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and no sooner had his chips landed on the table, his opponent released his hand.
