Rasmussen Loses Two Pots, Still Has Heaps

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Thayer Rasmussen has 1,605,000 chips despite losing two back-to-back pots.

The first of those two pots saw an all-in bet of 60,000 from the player under the gun, a bet that Rasmussen called from the small blind. Rasmussen showed {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and was against the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. A {K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board saw Rassmussen hand over 60,000 chips to his opponent.

Loss number two saw Gregory Lucchese raise to 50,000 from the hijack seat and Rasmussen three-bet to 130,000 from the button. Lucchese called and the dealer spread the {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds} flop. Lucchese checked, Rasmussen bet 155,000 and then quickly folded when Lucchese check-raised all-in.
