Selbst Send McLaughlin to the Rail

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Marc-Etienne McLaughlin was first to act in the cutoff and he raised to 3,500. Vaness Selbst was on the button and she called and when both of the blinds folded the dealer spread the {4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{A-Hearts} flop.

McLaughlin bet 3,000 which left only 22,000 behind and Selbst called. The turn introduced the {8-Spades} to the table and McLaughlin checked its arrival. Selbst bet 5,500 and then insta-called when McLaughlin check-raised all-in.

McLaughlin showed {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and was drawing dead to the {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} in Selbst's hand that had improved to a straight. McLaughlin had already stood from his seat by the time the inconsequential river was dealt.
