"Gordo" Continues to Slide

Level 3

Pot-Limit Omaha

Mike Gorodinsky remains in an early slump in the event where he notched a ninth-place finish last year. His most recent stumble came in the game that made him famous: PLO.

Gorodinsky was under the gun on a {2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop, and Frank Kassela bet into him for 800. Gorodinsky called, and he called another 3,000 on the {j-Diamonds} turn. Kassela's final bullet was for 5,500 on the {q-Hearts} river, and Gorodinsky quickly called that as well.

Kassela had the nut straight with {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and he took down the medium-sized pot.
