As the day's end nears, we have been out on the tournament floor searching for previously unknown players who are in possession of a big stack.
We discovered Spain's Yosei Obadia who has a massive 185,000 and Italy's Attilio Donato with 136,000 who look set to sail through to Saturday's second day of play.
Yevgeniy Timoshenko opened to 3,200 and Lucas Greenwood, Phil Laak and the small blind called before the big blind went all in for roughly 13,000. Timoshenko shoved for his last 16,600 as the Greenwood raised all in to push Laak and the small blind out.

The board ran out to see Timoshenko turn a flush to stay alive with just over 50,000 in chips.
We caught the hand as Scotty Nguyen called an all-in bet on a flop. Nguyen turned over for a set of tens, while his opponent held for bottom pair, an ace-high flush draw and a gutshot straight draw.
Nguyen's opponent went on to miss his draws as the and completed the board and sent him to the sidelines.
Kory Kilpatrick led for 3,800 from the small blind on the flop prompting a fold from Phil Hellmuth in the next seat along. Greg Merson raised pot from the button and made it 32,000 to go, Kilpatrick moved all-in and Merson called.

Kilpatrick had a set of fours but the hand was far from locked up. The turn was of no help to Merson and neither was the river and Kilpatrick claimed the tournament life of the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event champion.
