Ivey Gets in With Cinch

Level 44 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Phil Ivey three-bet a button raise from John Smith, and Smith made the call to see a {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop. Smith called a bet of 29,500, and an {8-Spades} arrived on the turn. Ivey put his last 75,200 in, and Smith called.

Ivey had {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, and Smith was drawing dead with {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

Colman Gets a Double to Survive

Level 43 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Daniel Colman got {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} in preflop when Joseph McArthur shoved all in with {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}. The {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop gave both players top pair but kept Colman in the lead.

"Another jack, please," he said, and the dealer obliged with {j-Hearts}.

"How about a third jack," McArthur said.

He wasn't so fortunate, as the {3-Diamonds} hit, doubling his opponent up.

Max Silver Defeats Branden Hampton

Level 42 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Max Silver advanced to the Round of 16.
Max Silver advanced to the Round of 16.

Max Silver put Branden Hampton all in before the flop for his last 40,000 or so, and Hampton called it off with {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Unfortunately for him, Silver held {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a dominating position, and the flop, turn, and river brought Hampton no salvation.

Scott Baumstein Defeats Ben Warrington

Level 42 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Ben Warrington opened to 6,000 on the button, Scott Baumstein three-bet to 14,500 in the big blind and Warrington four-bet shoved for about 74,000. Baumstein called with {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}, slightly trailing Warrington's {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

The board rolled out {K-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, giving Baumstein kings full of fours to punch his ticket to the Round of 16.
