Mueller Marches On

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Former hockey star Greg "FTB" Mueller continues to march up the chip counts and is now sat with 25,000 chips after sending a player to the rail a few moments ago.

The seemingly unstoppable Mark Radoja opened the betting with a raise to 725 from middle position and found two callers, one in the hijack seat and the other in the cutoff. Mueller, in the midst of a shoulder massage, raised to 2,500. Both blinds folded, as did Radoja, albeit after 20 seconds or so of deliberation.

Radoja's cards hadn't even hit the muck when the gentleman in the hijack seat pushed all in for 7,300 in total. After the cutoff folded, Mueller went into the tank.

Mueller sat trying to figure out his opponents holding for close to a minute before flicking in the extra calling chips.

Mueller: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Soon to be eliminated gentleman: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

The {9-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop kept the sixes ahead, but also gave Mueller an inside straight draw. The {8-Hearts} also gae Mueller the chance to counterfeit his opponent, but that wasn't needed as the river came down the {10-Clubs} to gift Mueller a straight.

As Mueller stacked his new chips, the now busted gentleman stood from his seat. We tried to discover his name, but he was in no mood to give it to us.
