Would you take 40-1 from Daniel Negreanu?
Would you take 40-1 from Daniel Negreanu?

Richard Sklar, better known as "Richie Fingers," is always looking for action. In previous events he's made final table bets with Phil Ivey - he collected in the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. event where he finished third for $206,499 - and now he's making wagers with Daniel Negreanu.

Daniel NegreanuJust gave Richie "Fingers" Sklar 40-1 to win this tourney. If you see money laying on the street, might as well bend over and pick it up.

Sklar then bet $1,000 on a very well-known player at an adjacent table.

"Two dimes?" Sklar just confirmed, popping out of his chair and handing Negreanu the money.

"I'm good for the money," Negreanu told him, smiling.

Kid Poker then turned his attention to fellow member of the red spade Jason Mercier, and asked him if he wanted to place a bet on himself at 40-1.

"What's the max bet?" Mercier asked. "A hundred thousand?"

"Two thousand," Negreanu answered.

"No thanks, brah," Mercier responded.

"I'll take seventy-four to one," Mike Gorodinksy joked when he was prompted with the proposition.

Gordo tried to bargain the line up from 40, but Negreanu wouldn't budge. We'll update you if anyone else takes Negreanu's offer.
