Bryan Campanello - 18th Place
Bryan Campanello - 18th Place

A player completed with a {j-} and Bryan Campanello made it two bets with {j-Hearts}. Behind him, Jean Maurice reraised with {a-Spades} and Campanello made the call after the initial raiser folded. Campanello got most of the rest in by check-raising when he caught the {9-Hearts} and the last 500 went in blind on fifth street.

Campanello: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}/{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Maurice: {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}/{a-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

Campanello had caught Maurice's aces by making two pair. He killed one of Maurice's outs by catching the {a-Hearts}, which also gave him a flush draw, but Maurice added a straight draw with the {6-Hearts}. He filled it with the {4-Diamonds} and Campanello didn't improve.

Campanello will have to wait on a second bracelet. He won one last by taking down a Razz event, defeating David Bach heads up.
