Givens Gathering Chips

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Will Givens lost a chunk of change late in the last level trying to bust a short stack but it hasn’t taken him long to repair the damage and then some.

Givens opened for 5,000 and the big blind Adil Sbai defended. It was heads up to a flop of {a-}{9-}{4-} rainbow. Sbai checked to Givens who bet 4,500 and got a call. The turn card was the {4-Clubs} which now put two clubs on board.

Checked to Givens again and he went for a bet of 11,000 which Sbai called and the river {2-Clubs} completed the board. Checked to Givens who bet for a third time, putting out 22,000. Sbai moved all in and Givens made the call with {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}. All Sbai could show was the {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

The more chips Givens gathers, the more relaxed he is at the table and he is talking up a storm to his opponents at the moment.
