Martin Jacobson Doubles Through Igor Kurganov

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Martin Jacobson opened for 17,000 from the cutoff and Igor Kurganov three-bet to 45,000 right next to him on the button. Both blinds folded, and action was back on Jacobson. The Swede made it 95,000 and called the shove from Kurganov that followed. Jacobson was at risk with his entire 329,000 stack in the middle, Kurganov had him covered by just 175,000.

Jacobson: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Kurganov: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The board wouldn't improve Kurganov's hand and in fact gave Jacobson a full house: {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{J-Hearts}. Jacobson doubled, leaving Kurganov with just 22 big blinds in the process.
