Layne Flack Eliminated in 13th Place ($28,414)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Layne Flack - 13th Place
Layne Flack - 13th Place

Layne Flack opened for 28,000 under the gun and George Danzer defended from the big blind. Both players then checked the {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop, and the {6-Diamonds} was put out on the turn. Danzer led out for 27,000, and Flack responded by moving all in. Danzer double checked his cards and called off for 269,000.

Flack: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Danzer: {6-Spades}{3-Spades}

Flack had picked a bad spot to make a move as he was drawing dead to Danzer's trips. The meaningless {7-Hearts} was put out on the river, and Flack sent the vast majority of his chips across the table.

In the very next hand, Max Silver raised to 24,000 from the button and then called when Flack moved all in for approximately 30,000 from the big blind.

Silver: {k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Flack: {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The {3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop gave Flack the lead with two pair, but the {7-Clubs} spiked on the turn to give Silver a flush. The {J-Spades} river failed to help Flack, and he was sent to the rail in 13th place.

"Good luck," Flack offered before shaking hands with the remaining players at the table.

Sammartino Takes Down a Big One

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Dario Sammartino raised to 25,000 from the button and he was three-bet by Hiren Patel from the small blind. Sammartino made the call and the flop brought out {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

Patel bet 64,000 on the flop and Sammartino made the call. On the turn the {A-Hearts} hit and Patel bet another 114,000. Sammartino tanked for quite a long time but eventually he made the call.

On the river the {J-Diamonds} popped up and Patel checked to the Italian pro who bet 180,000. Patel again tanked but eventually he made the call. Sammartino tabled {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and he raked in this big pot.

2009 WSOP Main Event champion Joe Cada seeks his second bracelet

A total of 13 players still remain as one of the toughest tournaments of the World Series of Poker, the Event #32: Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship, heads into its final day. None other than Max Silver, 2011 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event eighth-place finisher, leads the way followed by an array of top players.

Hiren Patel sits in second place, and he's looking for his second final table this summer after finishing seventh in one of the $1,500 events. Joe Cada, the 2009 WSOP Main Event champion, sits in third and he will be more focused than ever on winning his second bracelet after finishing in the top four of three events over the last two summers in Las Vegas.

Today's other contenders include former November Niners JC Tran and Jeremy Ausmus, two-time bracelet winners Scott Clements and Erick Lindgren, six-time bracelet winner Layne Flack, and the winner of last week's $10,000 Razz Championship, George Danzer.

Martin Jacobson ($4.7 million in career earnings), Lee Markholt ($3.7 million), Dario Sammartino ($938K), and Kyle White ($81K) are also among the players still alive for the gold as we head into the final day.
