First, Minaya lost all but 80,000 of his stack when he tangled with Peter Gould on a board reading eventually calling a 48,000 river bet only to be shown for trip jacks.
A couple of hands later, Minaya moved all-in with what turned out to be in middle position and was re-shoved on by Jim Jakobsen who held .

Facing a raise from Eric Spitzer, Tom Dooley pushed all in from the button. When Spitzer called, Dooley let out a groan, knowing he was probably beat.

Jeffrey Finkelstein watched on from the big blind and saw Matt Stout make it 27,000 to go from the button. The small blind ducked out of the way, Finkelstein moved all-in for around 110,000 and Stout made a reluctant call.
