Savard Doubles Through Stein

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

"All in an a call," we heard the dealer over at Table 350 shout. We made our way over to discover Jean-Pascal Savard was all in for 27,200 and at risk against Sam Stein.

Savard: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Stein: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Savard was well out in front and looking to dodge an ace. He did so on the {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop, but the {Q-Clubs} turn gave him even more outs to dodge as Stein picked up a Broadway draw. Fortunately for Savard, the {2-Spades} blanked on the river and he was able to double through.
