Hand #21: Barry Hutter raised to 60,000 from middle position and Jamie Armstrong called from the big blind. The {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} flop saw both players checked and the {10-Hearts} double pair the board on the turn. Armstrong checked and then folded when Hutter bet 75,000.

Hands #16-18: Armstrong Crosses 3 Million

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #16: Jamie Armstrong raised to 60,000 on the button, Andy Phan called in the small blind and Barry Hutter called from the big blind.

The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and action checked to Armstrong who bet 125,000. Only Phan called to see the {6-Hearts} turn, which both checked. The {4-Diamonds} river completed the board and Phan checked to Armstrong who bet 315,000. Phan check-raised to 700,000 and Armstrong quickly called.

Phan showed {A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for just a pair of threes, while Armstrong tabled {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for a straight to win the pot.

Hand #17: Pierre Milan shoved for 355,000 under the gun and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #18: Jamie Armstrong raised to 60,000 in the hijack and Matt Salsberg called in the small blind.

They checked down a {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{4-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board and Armstrong showed {J-Clubs}{9-} for a [air of jacks, good enough to win the pot.

Hands #11-#15: The Chips are Moving

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #11: Barry Hutter opened for 60,000 on the button and Pierre Milan defended his big blind. When the flop came down {6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, both players checked and the {6-Clubs} appeared on the turn. Milan checked, Hutter bet 80,000, and Milan folded.

Hand #12: Thad McNulty raised to 70,000 under the gun and swiped the blinds and antes. McNulty then showed {a-}{k-}.

Hand #13: Jamie Armstrong opened for 60,000 under the gun and Andy Phan raised him to 140,000. Action folded back to Armstrong, and he opted for a four-bet to 360,000. Phan folded.

Hand #14: Barry Hutter raised to 60,000 only to have Matt Salsberg three-bet to 140,000. Jamie Armstrong then four-bet to 325,000 from the big blind, Hutter moved all in 1.07 million, and Salsberg folded. Armstrong wasted little time in releasing his hand.

Hand #15: Justin Oliver opened for 65,000 from the cutoff, Thad McNulty called from the button, and it was heads-up action to the {4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop. Oliver bet 65,000, McNulty insta-called, and the dealer burned and turned the {7-Hearts}. Oliver bet 135,000 and McNulty folded.

Hands #8-10: Daniel Laming Eliminated in 8th Place ($48,952)

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Daniel Laming - 8th Place

Hand #8: Thad Mcnulty raised to 70,000 in the cutoff and received no action.

Hand #9: Andy Phan raised to 80,000 in the small blind and Barry Hutter defended his big blind. Both checked to the turn of a {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} board where Hutter bet 90,000. Phan called, the {4-Diamonds} river completed the board and Phan checked. Hutter bet 220,000 and Phan quickly folded.

Hand #10: Justin Oliver raised to 65,000 in early position and Daniel Laming three-bet shoved for 360,000 from the hijack. Matt Salsberg called in the big blind and Oliver folded.

Laming: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Salsberg: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The flop fell {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} to give Salsberg a flush draw to go along with top pair. The {6-Diamonds} turn kept Laming ahead, but the {Q-Spades} river fell to give Salsberg trip queens to eliminate Laming.

Sam Cohen Eliminated in 9th Place ($38,244)

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Sam Cohen - 9th Place
Sam Cohen - 9th Place

Hand #5: Matt Salsberg opened for 65,000 from the hijack, Thad McNulty called from the big blind, and the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. McNulty checked, Salsberg bet 75,000, and McNulty called to see the {4-Spades} on the turn. McNulty check-called another bet, this time 100,000, and the {Q-Spades} completed the board on the river. McNulty opted to lead out for 200,000 and Salsberg released his hand.

Hand #6: Action folded to Sam Cohen on the button and she moved all in for 275,000. The blinds folded and Cohen won the pot.

Hand #7: Justin Oliver opened for 65,000 from the hijack only to have Sam Cohen three-bet all in for 360,000 from the cutoff. The button and blinds all folded, and then Oliver thought long and hard before making the call.

Oliver: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Cohen: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

It was a race situation, but Cohen was the one that needed to improve. She didn't do it on the {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop, and the {a-Diamonds} turn was equally as useless. Cohen needed either a king or queen on the river to stay alive, but it wasn't in the cards as the {4-Spades} blanked.
