Shulman Check-Shove Wins Him a Pot

Level 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

There was a raise to 900 from middle position, a raise that Stephen Chidwick called from the hijack seat and Nick Shulman in the big blind.

Shulman checked the {9-Clubs}{A-Spades}{8-Spades} flop and the initial raiser fired a 2,100 continuation bet. Chidwick had seen enough and stepped out of the way, but Shulman looked to have other ideas. He counted his chips, piled them into one tower and moved all-in. The move worked because his now sole opponent instantly folded and Shulman added the pot to his stack.
