Borrat and Kenney Clash

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
David Borrat
David Borrat

David Borrat raised to 32,000 from under the gun, Bryn Kenney called in the cutoff, and the two took a flop of {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. Borrat led out for 36,000, Kenney called, and the turn was the {k-Spades}.

Borrat led out again - this time firing 62,000 - and Kenney raised to 141,000. Borrat tank-called.

The {7-Spades} completed the board, Borrat checked, and Kenney slid out 272,000. The Frenchman tanked for 90 seconds or so before calling, and Kenny turned over {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a pair of fours.

Borrat revealed {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a pair of aces, made a fist with his right hand, and pounded the felt with excitement. He was shipped a million-chip pot, rocketing up to 1.26 million chips, while Kenney slipped to 873,000.
