Hands #1-5: Tran and Mo Exchange Pots

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #1

On the first hand of his semifinal heads-up match against Jason Mo, JC Tran opened for 80,000 holding the button. Mo took a moment to reflect in the big blind, before deciding on a three-bet to around 255,000. Tran released his hand and first blood went to Mo.

Hand #2

After a raise and a call before the flop, the dealer fanned the {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} across the felt. Tran checked to Mo, who fired away with a bet of 55,000 to force Tran off his hand.

Hand #3

Tran raised his button to 80,000 and Mo flatted to see the flop fall {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. After Mo tapped the table Tran fired out what looked to be a 100,000 wager, and Mo called to peel the {7-Hearts} on the turn. Both players checked fourth street and the {8-Hearts} completed the board on the river. Checks around left both players waiting for the other to show, and it when Mo revealed his {K-Clubs}{6-Hearts} Tran slid his own hand toward the dealer.

Hand #4

Mo opened to 90,000 from the button and Tran released out of the big blind.

Hand #5

Tran opened to 80,000 from the button, Mo flatted and the flop fell {8-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Mo then check-called a 70,000 wager, and but he checked out on the {6-Hearts} turn when Tran fired a second barrel of 185,000.
