Mizrachi Busts

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi and Phil Ivey were heads up on a completed board of {6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades} with around 100,000 in the pot. Mizrachi fired out a half-pot bet, Ivey called and Mizrachi rapped the table, signifying a bluff.

Ivey tabled {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and raked in the pot.

A few hands later, Mizrachi raised to 8,500 in the hijack, Richard Anthony called on the button, John Juanda called out of the small blind and Barry Hutter defended his big blind.

The dealer fanned {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, Juanda and Hutter both checked, and Mizrachi made a continuation-bet of 20,500. Anthony folded, Juanda followed suit and Hutter check-raised to what looked like 55,000 or so. Mizrachi moved all in for 180,000, Hutter snap-called and the hands were tabled.

Mizrachi: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Hutter: {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The turn and river bricked {2-Clubs}, {6-Hearts} respectively, and Mizrachi was eliminated.
