Aaron Steury opened with a raise from the cutoff and found calls from Tom Franklin in the small blind and Mike Leah in the big blind. All three players pulled two new cards at the draw and Franklin checked. Leah led out and both Steury and Franklin called.

For the second draw, Franklin took two, Leah one, and Steury two. Action checked to Leah who led out into the pot for a second time. Steury got out of the way and Franklin called, drawing one at the final draw. Leah stood pat and checked it back when action checked to him.

Franklin flashed {6-}{6-} for a pair and Leah showed a winning {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}. The start-of-day chip leader was pushed the pot and now has about 110,000. Franklin, on the other hand, has dropped to 45,000.
