Cohen Fails to Win the Flip

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

A short-stacked Jesse Cohen moved all in for his last 52,000 from the hijack and cleared the field to Gordon Vayo, who called from the big blind.

Cohen: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Vayo: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

It was a flip, but Cohen was the one that needed to improve. The {4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} contained paint, but not a picture card Cohen needed. The {2-Diamonds} turn was no help, and it was followed by the useless {7-Clubs} on the river. Cohen missed and became the 22nd-place finisher.

"Did you have me?" Cohen asked his opponent in regards to an earlier hand. Vayo indicated that he did and would tell him his exact holdings later.
