Hand #120: Volpe raised to 45,000 from his button and Jason Mercier three-bet shoved all in from the small blind. Volpe called and each player took one card.

Mercier: {8-}{7-}{4-}{2-}

Both players had an eighty-seven draw and Volpe squeezed his card first. He ripped over a {4-}, making his eighty-seven and giving him a huge lead in the hand. Mercier peer at his card and also tabled a {4-}, giving him a pair and ensuring his elimination. He will collect $99,313 for his third place finish.

Hand #109: Mercier popped it up to 40,000 from his button and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #111: Mercier raised to 47,000 from the small blind and Negreanu folded his big blind.

Hand #112: Mercier made it 40,000 from the button and Volpe called out of the big blind. Both competitors took two cards on the draw.

Volpe checked and Mercier fired out 48,000 and Volpe released his cards.

Hand #101: Volpe raised to 45,000 from the small blind and Mercier called. Both players drew one card and checked the final betting round. Volpe fanned {9-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} and took down the pot.
