Boatman Back to Square One

Level 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

Doing a sweep of the room for updated chip counts we noticed that Barny Boatman was chipping up nicely when this hand occurred.

There was a raise to 125 and Boatman made it 350 on the button. The blinds folded and his opponent went all in for 1,700. Boatman practically beat him in the pot and turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} versus the {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} of his opponent.

The flop was {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Spades}. Boatman said he didn’t want to pair his ace anymore. The turn card {4-Spades} then gave his opponent spade flush outs, and the river {a-Spades} was one of them.

Boatman was on a stack of nearly 8,000, but he’ll have to do it all over again as he’s back to right around the starting stack.
