Taylor Takes a Big Pot

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We walked up to a board of {2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Jay Graunstadt led out for 12,000 heads up against John Taylor who raised to 37,000 from the button. Graunstadt made the call and the turn brought the {j-Spades}. Graunstadt checked and Taylor slid out 46,000. Graunstadt thought for a while before finally making the call.

The river was the {6-Spades} and Taylor pushed all-in. Graunstadt couldn't stand the heat and folded as Taylor turned over the {4-Spades}{5-Spades} showing what he may have thought was a bluff. "Same hand," Graunstadt claimed.

Instead of a chop though, Taylor dragged the entire pot.
