According to Duval, on a flop of , Jason Duval checked, Ronald Lee bet out, and then Jason Duval check-raised enough to put Lee all-in. Lee called with for a flush draw, and Duval was ahead with . The turn and river cards were the and giving Duval an unnecessary full house and the victory.
Leo Wolpert raised to 1,600 from the button pre-flop, and his opponent called from the big blind. Both players checked the flop of . On the turn card, the big blind bet out 1,400, and Wolpert called. The fell on the river, and the big blind again bet out, this time for 2,100. Wolpert had an agonized look on his face, but pushed forward 2,100 of his own. His opponent said "Good call," and Wolpert turned over for a winning pair of aces.
The players who elected to play level 7 during the first part of the dinner break are now also on break. All remaining tables will resume play in 30 minutes.
Just before break, Leo Wolpert eliminated his last opponent. The players got their chips in the middle pre-flop. Wolpert held , and his opponent, holding , was dominated. The board ran out , giving each player a pair. Wolpert's queen's however, were the stronger pair, and he won the pot and his table. He now advances to round 2 of the shootout.
