Australian Legend Wins One; Rheem and Hastings Bounced

Level 7
Mel Judah
Mel Judah

No Limit Hold'em

In a recent hand, a player in middle position opened for 450 and Judah defended from the small blind. Judah proceeded to check-call a bet of 650 on the {8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and then both players checked the {6-Clubs} turn. When the {7-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Judah grabbed a single orange T1,000 and flipped it in the pot. His opponent thought for about 15 seconds and then gently dropped his cards in front of the dealer.

Mel Judah is a poker legend. Since 1988 the Australian has amassed 38 World Series of Poker cashes for $1,321,500. Oh, and he has two gold bracelets to his name.

Meanwhile, both Chino Rheem and Brian Hastings have been eliminated from the tournament.
