Hanks Doubles & Cripples Obrestad

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Annette Obrestad, perhaps best known for winning the inaugural 2007 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event at 18 years old (making her the youngest person to ever win a WSOP bracelet), was just crippled after doubling up Brent Hanks.

We're not sure of the exact action, but we do know she held the {K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} on a board reading {2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} while Hanks had the {K-Spades}{9-Spades}. It was a blind-versus-blind battle, and our guess is that the chips got in on the flop. Whatever the case, Hanks is now flush with chips while Obrestad is down to 14,000.
