Mizrachi Moves Tables, Takes a hit.
Michael "Grinder" Mizrachi recently moved from the Pavilion Room to the Brasilia Room, taking over 500,000 in chips with him. Once he arrived at his new table, it literally took him over ten minutes to unbag and stack all his chips. However, he lost a chunk almost as soon as he sat down.
With Michael Telker on the button and Mizrachi in the big blind, and the board reading on the flop, Mizrachi bet out 3,000, and Telker called. Grinder bet again when the fell on the turn, this time for 7,500. Telker called again, and the completed the board on the river. Mizrachi tossed out a big bet of 30,000. This was a lot for Telker, but didn't seem like much to Mizrachi, one of the benefits of having the biggest stack in the room. Telker tanked for about two minutes, then he announced he was all in. Mizrachi asked for a count. It turned out Telker had 47,800, so Mizrachi would only have to call 17,800 more. When it was obviously that the call was that small, Grinder announced a call even before the dealer finished counting the chips, and Telker turned over for a full house. Mizrachi slid his cards into the muck, and the dealer pushed Telker the pot. In this Michael v. Michael battle, Mizrachi lost nearly 60,000 on the hand.
