Castelluccio Believes Owen

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

From middle position, Sergio Castelluccio raised to 120,000. Dan Owen was the only caller from the big blind, and the flop came down {K-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Owen checked, Castelluccio fired 125,000, and Owen called.

The turn was the {2-Spades}, and Owen checked again. Castelluccio slid forward 220,000, and Owen matched it for the call.

The river paired the board with the {9-Diamonds}. Owen led for 600,000, and Castelluccio tanked. He eventually said that he believed Owen and folded his hand. Owen showed just the {6-Clubs}.

Castelluccio was under the impression that if Owen showed one card, he would have to show both. The dealer had already mucked all cards and was preparing the next hand, but Castelluccio wanted to floor to come over and give him the official ruling. The floor was called, and Castelluccio was informed that Owen didn't have to show both cards, just one is allowed if a player so chooses to do so.
