Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

A few hours ago, Pedro Fernandez was reduced to a single big blind when he lost a race with pocket jacks against ace-queen. He proceeded to quintuple up the next hand, and then double back up to around 10 big blinds.

Now, after winning a race with ace-queen against jacks, Fernandez is up to 820,000 chips.

All of the money went in the middle preflop between Fernandez, who had {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, and Fabian Ortiz, who showed {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. Fernandez took the lead when the flop fell {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{k-Hearts}, and held as the turn and river came {k-Diamonds}, {2-Spades} respectively.

Ortiz was left with just 225,000 chips, while Fernandez's comeback story is still alive and well.
