Pinedamoncada and Jones Bust During the Break

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

As the break began, Raul Paez opened to 33,000 in early position, Jose Pinedamoncada three-bet to 102,000 in middle position, and Jason Mann cold four-bet to 283,000 on the button. Paez folded, Pinedamoncada five-bet to 548,000, and Mann six-bet to 1.002 million. Pinedamoncada moved all in for 1.516 million, and Mann snap-called.

Pinedamoncada: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Mann: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The aces held up as the board rolled out {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, and Pinedamoncada hit the rail.

On an adjacent table, Ryan Jones was all in and at risk, and Brian Appelbaum tank-called.

Jones: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Appelbaum: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Jones was at risk for 257,000, and remained ahead on the flop ({8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}) and on the turn ({j-Spades}).

"Sorry for the bad beat," Appelbaum told Jones.

As if he knew it was coming, the {3-Hearts} spiked on the river to give Appelbaum a set of threes. Jones jumped out of his chair and quickly grabbed his things, while Appelbaum apologetically asked if Jones would shake his hand. Jones refused, and instead gave the gentleman dap before hitting the rail.
