Lindh Jams the Turn, Gets There

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Christopher Lindh bet 19,200 after his opponent in the big blind checked with the board reading {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. The big blind raised to 62,000, prompting Lindh to move all in. The big blind seemed anguished and at one point held his cards out as if he was going to drop them into the muck. He pulled them back, however, and continued thinking. Finally, he reached back and decisively slid his entire stack in, calling it off.

Lindh: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Big blind: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

He was ahead with two pair, but Lindh had plenty of outs with a flush draw and a higher pair. The dealer burned and turned an {a-Clubs}, completing Lindh's flush.

"Motherf*****," the big blind said, slapping the table in frustration.

Lindh now holds nearly 700,000 in chips.
